Week 3 was mostly a disaster for the Pac-12. Arizona lost to an FCS program, #19 ASU lost to BYU, #13 UCLA fell to Fresno State and Colorado was shut out by Minnesota. On the positive side, Washington and USC looked like the teams we all expected pre-season and Oregon and Oregon State rolled to easy victories. We present the best team, coach, and players from Week 3 action.
Team of the Week: Washington
Washington unveiled a dynamic spread offense while the defense was lights out. After two poor performances, Washington once again looks like a possible Pac-12 Title contender after a 52-3 win over Arkansas State.
Coach of the Week: Donte Williams (USC)
Donte Williams made his debut performance as the USC Interim Head Coach and quickly impressed. The Trojans dominated WSU 45-14 and the defense and offense were firing on all cylinders. Can Williams make a run at the full time HC position? His next test will be Oregon State this Saturday.
Offensive Player of the Week: Drake London (USC)
Drake London was unstoppable on Saturday while registering 13 catches for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns. The USC star made things easy on Freshman Jaxson Dart and bolstered his draft stock.
Defensive Player of the Week: Brendan Radley-Hiles (UW)
The Husky defense was simply dominant and that effort was led by Brendan Radley-Hiles who flew all over the field making plays. The Oklahoma transfer finished with 9 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack and a fumble recovery. Contributions from Radley-Hiles helped the Huskies limit Arkansas State's high powered offense to 3 points.
